The Brakes Trust team (who organise the Citizen of the Year Awards) were delighted to once again have a pitch at the Leamington Peace Festival. We used our slot to open the nominations for the 2014 Citizen of the Year Awards, promote Stonewall’s #nobystanders campaign against bullying, and publicise Leamington Lions FC and fundraising for youngsters travelling to Tanzania.

In total we received a whopping 13 nominations for Citizen of the Year over the course of the weekend so we’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to our stall for a chat. Plus of course a big thank you and well done to the Peace Festival organisers.
