We’re delighted to announce that local singer Amy Thomas will once again be performing at our Gala Awards Ceremony.
Amy has performed at the Citizen of the Year Awards for the past two years and she has truly been a highlight of the show. Performing solo on stage, she has captivated audiences with her voice and emotion.
Amy is 14 years old and attends North Leamington School. She has enjoyed being involved with the Citizen of the Year Awards for the past three years.
Amy sings a variety of Classical, songs from The Musicals and easy listening music. She has been singing since she was 9 years old, when she won her first singing competition at The Royal Spa Centre called “Twinkle Twinkle be a Star”. She went on to win ‘Lillington’s Got Talent’ when she was 11 years old.
She now sings at many charity events, parties, festivals and other special occasions. She regularly sings at special school events and this year she sang at her first Wedding.
Amy recently sang at The Chairman of the County Council’s Civic Service in Kenilworth. She was also recently a guest singer at The RNA male voice choir’s annual Welfare event.
Later this year Amy will also be singing at The Warwick District Remembers Concert, at The Royal Spa Centre in October.
“I feel honoured to be a part of The Citizen of the Year Awards and I hope that people enjoy being entertained by my voice”.
